Welcome to J2 Rolls A website about John "J2" Mryczko, a action sports enthusiast, designer, promoter, producer, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker who's living with a Spinal Cord Injury.  J2 has not been injured his whole life but on June 3rd of 1999 at the age of 19 his whole life changed after a motorcycle accident left him paralyzed from the chest down.

Before his injury J2 was an up and coming professional action sports athlete just a few months away from moving to California.  Being involved in action sports such as BMX, skateboarding, and snowboarding for over 10 years his life never had a dull moment.

After his injury life was completely different and would not be the same. His freedom, independence, and participation in the sports he loved was all taken away.  After being in the hospital intensive care unit for 5 weeks he was sent to a rehab for 3 months where he learned information about,  and how to live his new life with a spinal cord injury.

After rehab J2 was sent back home to live with his mom, father, and sisters.  There reality really hit him hard and made him depressed for several weeks.  After those several weeks J2 new that having a constant frown would only make things worse in his new world that was turned upside down.

He was never one to turn away from or turn down a challenge and he was not going to let his SCI challenge be the first time.  Fast forward 15 years and you will learn that J2 has not only continued to live his life to the fullest, but has done more than most average people do.  His body might have changed but his interests and personality never did. He has continued to be involved in action sports in many ways. Not only keeping up with the sports he was once a part of, but now being involved in adaptive action & adventure sports.  He has used his wheelchair in unconventional ways by doing tricks, stunts, and rolling for hundreds of miles in it.  He is and has also been involved in sit ski, power wheelchair racing, kayaking, sky diving, scuba diving, and adaptive all terrain vehicle racing.

There is so much he has done and he is still planning to do. This website is made to share his story, his accomplishments, his goals, his dreams, and his adventures.  J2 hopes that by continuing to live a full life he may help a few and inspire many to know that life can go on no matter what a persons situation, disability or injury.
